Born and raised in England and diagnosed with type 1 diabetes more than 30 years ago, Angela is more than familiar with diabetes and its day-to-day challenges. In fact, she has devoted her life to helping people with diabetes realize their potential in managing the disease. She currently works as a diabetes nurse educator at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center and serves as a guiding light on the path of control for people with diabetes and their families.
